Our E-Bike Service Policy

Because of the wide variety of electric bikes that are currently on the market, we cannot offer service on those bikes that may need to have their rear wheels removed. The wiring involved to disconnect and re-connect is impossible for us to obtain in the event that something is damaged during our work on the bike. We will still do our best to service the “bicycle” parts of an e-bike including replacement of the front tire and/or tube.

If your bike was not purchased here or has a rear-wheel drive, we will evaluate the bike on a case-by-case basis.  

Due to the lack of technical support and component availability from manufacturers and vendors that do not have proper distribution in the United States, we simply cannot guarantee the same level of service and expertise that you’ve come to expect from Michael’s Cycles. And, frankly, we wish to be the best at everything we do. We are looking into ways we can expand our eBike service in the future, but right now we may not be able to work on bikes other than what we sell.
